Batch Cropping using Photoshop

An often overlooked way to batch crop in Photoshop CS5 is to use Adobe Camera Raw’s Synchronize Command thereby speeding up processing time! Pick files with similar lighting conditions and apply the same edit from one to all of them. Edit files directly from Adobe Camera Raw and convert and output them without going through Photoshop or using Photoshop Actions. This method works in some of the previous versions of Photoshop as well.

Note: All selected images are white balanced, cropped, etc. off the one you first selected when doing the syncronize command (I white balanced the first image but selected the 3rd for cropping but did not white balance it–therefore only the first image was white balanced!)  Typically do separate batches for verticals and then horizontal images.
